Teeth Whitening — A quick boost for dull teeth

What does it fix?

The benefits

  • Instant results: We can brighten your teeth in just one session by several shades.
  • Boosted self-confidence: A whiter smile can boost self-esteem, making one more willing to share their smile.

Signature JJS Veneers — The pathway to a flawless summer smile

What do they fix?

Veneers are porcelain or composite resin shells that adhere to the front surface of the teeth. They’re perfect for addressing chipped or broken teeth, severe discolouration, and uneven or misshapen teeth.

The benefits

  • Durability: With proper care, veneers can last up to 15 years.
  • Natural appearance: They’re custom-made to match the colour and shape of your natural teeth.
  • Stain resistance: Unlike natural teeth, porcelain is resistant to staining.

Dental Bonding — A cost-effective makeover

What does it fix?

Dental bonding uses a tooth-coloured composite resin to fix imperfections like small chips or cracks, gaps between the teeth, and discoloured teeth.

The benefits

  • Minimally invasive: Little to no removal of enamel is required.
  • Quick procedure: Dental bonding is often completed in a single visit.
  • Affordability: It’s generally less expensive than other cosmetic treatments.

Clear Aligners — Straightening teeth discreetly

What do they fix?

Clear aligners offer a clear alternative to braces, effectively addressing crooked or misaligned teeth, bite issues and crowded teeth.

The benefits

  • Nearly invisible: Clear aligners are discreet, making them a favourite among adults.
  • Removable: Unlike traditional braces, you can remove clear aligners while eating or for special occasions.
  • Comfort: They tend to be more comfortable without metal wires or brackets.

Smile Makeover — Comprehensive transformation

How will it help me?

The benefits

Veneers vs Crowns

Veneers vs Crowns: Your ultimate guide to a show-stopping smile

When it comes to enhancing your smile, the world of cosmetic dentistry offers a multitude of options. Two of the most popular treatments are dental veneers and crowns. But what’s the difference between the two, and which one is right for you?

Let’s dive in and decode these smile transformers!

What are dental veneers?

Consider dental veneers the ‘Hollywood’ secret to a glamorous, red-carpet-worthy smile. These ultra-thin porcelain shells are custom-made to fit precisely over the front of your teeth.

They’re like the magic wand of cosmetic dentistry — masking discolourations, closing gaps, and correcting minor misalignments, all with a natural-looking finish.

Learn more about our JJS Signature Veneers here!

What are dental crowns?

On the other hand, dental crowns (appropriately named as they indeed are the ‘crown jewel’ of restorative dentistry) are more like a protective helmet for your tooth. They cover the entire tooth, not just the front, and are typically used when a tooth is significantly damaged or decayed.

Crowns restore strength, shape and function, all while giving your tooth a visual makeover.

The showdown: veneers vs crowns

So, how do you choose between veneers and crowns? First, let’s consider a few key factors:

1. Purpose

The choice between veneers and crowns boils down to the purpose of the procedure. If you’re looking to correct minor cosmetic issues — think discolouration, small gaps, or slight misalignments — veneers are your go-to. They’re primarily a cosmetic solution.

However, a crown is usually the better option if your tooth has significant decay, a large filling or is cracked or broken. It’s a restorative solution that offers both aesthetic and functional benefits.

2. Tooth preparation

In the world of dentistry, preserving natural tooth structure is always a top priority. Veneers win this round as they require less tooth preparation compared to crowns. Only a thin layer of enamel is removed to fit the veneer (none if it’s done with composite resin), whereas a crown requires the tooth to be significantly reduced in size to accommodate it.

3. Durability

While both veneers and crowns are made from durable materials designed to withstand biting and chewing, crowns generally offer more strength and longevity. They cover the entire tooth, providing more structural support, especially for heavily filed or broken teeth.

4. Cost

In general, crowns and veneers are comparable in cost, but this can vary depending on individual circumstances. When deciding, it’s essential to consider the long-term benefits and potential future costs of replacement.

So, which is it?

When it comes to choosing between veneers and crowns, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Instead, it’s all about assessing your individual needs, oral health condition, and aesthetic goals. As always, a consultation with your dentist is the best place to start. They’ll guide you towards the solution that’s perfect for your smile!

At JJS Dentistry, we’re committed to helping you achieve the smile of your dreams. Whether it’s veneers, crowns or another dental solution, we ensure you receive the highest quality care. Remember, your smile is your superpower — let’s make it shine!

Digital impressions

Why we use digital impressions at our practice

Digital impressions are more accurate and more dependable than old “putty”. They’re also more comfortable and less of a daunting experience for patients. In this blog, we’ll take a look at how digital impressions work and why we use them.

What is a digital dental impression?

A dental impression is an accurate mould of an individual’s teeth. Traditionally, this is complete using casting materials to create a negative imprint of the teeth. The imprint is then used to create a replica of the teeth’s shape. Modern advances in technology mean that we can now create virtual impressions of the hard and soft tissues in the mouth using special scanning devices. These digital impressions are highly accurate and can be complete in minutes, with minimum discomfort for the patient.

What does a digital dental impression involve?

You will receive an anaesthetic, and we dust your teeth with special titanium dioxide powder in order to scan. This allows Dr Serfontein to create a powder-free, 3D image of your teeth. We capture the digital impression using an intraoral wand that is inserted into your mouth and moved over the surface of the teeth. Our digital impressions also use a chairside monitor to display the impression image as it is captured. So, you can see the images as they’re captured!

Benefits of Digital Impressions vs Traditional Impressions

Digital impressions mean greater comfort

As a patient, the main benefit of digital impressions is comfort. Traditional impressions can be rather uncomfortable with their sticky putty and large plastic trays. The hard, long, hard sides of the tray extend far back in your mouth, which can cause a gag reflex. In addition, when the putty is removed, it can leave an unpleasant taste in the mouth. Digital impressions, on the other hand, uses an intraoral scanner slim wand- no putty, trays or gagging.

The scan itself is complete in just a few minutes. There’s taste and no mess to worry about. The result is a more pleasant and relaxing experience for you.

Digital impressions equal greater accuracy

Putty impressions create a “negative impression” of the teeth. To see how the teeth really look, the dentist fills the impression  with clay-like material to form the 3D “positive” mould. All that modelling allows for small errors and imperfections that can interfere with your treatment plan. Digital impressions are free from these errors as they rely solely on the images captured during the scan. Since dental treatment is unique to every patient, starting with the most accurate data is essential to achieve good results.

Easily shareable

Digital impressions are on a computer, so Dr Serfontein can share them with the dental lab or fabricator straight away. Faster retrieval of your data means your dental restorations will arrive quicker.

You’ll be able to start and finish treatment much sooner. Also, keeping those images on the computer lets Dr Serfontein access them easily throughout your treatment, so he can reference them as needed.

Greener alternative

Plastic trays and putty, and plastic used in traditional impressions wind up in the landfill eventually. Digital images are on a computer, so they don’t add to pollution.

Find out more about our advanced technology

Digital impressions rely on the most advanced dental technology. This means they’re not available at every practice. As a top dental practice in Cape Town, JJS Dentistry uses digital technology to create customised treatment plans for all patients. In addition, Dr JJ Serfontein has experience treating people from all across the world.

Emax veneers: the future of dentistry

Emax veneers: the future of dentistry

Veneers are thin layers of tooth-coloured material that we bond to the front surface of discoloured or damaged teeth. The goal is to correct various teeth problems. Emax porcelain veneers are the types of veneers that we most recommended for our patients. The reason for this; they give your teeth the natural translucence and lustre of a healthy smile.

Emax porcelain veneers are made from lithium disilicate glass-ceramic.

This material is well-known for its superior strength, even when cut into very thin slices. We adjust the clear ceramic’s transparency and light diffusion properties to replicate the structure of your natural tooth. The result is an unnoticeable restoration.

When do we use Emax veneers?

Patients who want to enhance their appearance by improving the aesthetic quality and structure of teeth may benefit from Emax. Adults with misaligned, misshaped or crooked teeth are also good candidates.

In addition, those with chipped teeth and teeth with inconsistent spacing and gaps can benefit. In some cases, we use Emax veneers as an alternative to teeth whitening. Emax not only re-shapes but also masks tooth discolouration and staining.

The veneer process

At your first appointment, we will evaluate your tooth structure, facial features and bite to determine whether Emax is suitable for your case. Next, we will design custom Emax porcelain veneers for your teeth, giving you the option to “try your new smile” and see what the final outcome will be once you receive your permanent veneers.

At this stage, you can choose to change the size, shape or shade of your teeth to enhance your smile. If your teeth are unevenly stained, we may use multiple layers of veneers for the teeth that have more stains. This will help create a more uniform look.

Once you are happy with your brand new smile, we will send the design to the laboratory, where they will create your veneers. In 1-2 weeks, you will return to our office. Finally, we will bond the veneers to your teeth with resin cement.

The benefits of Emax veneers

Minimal tooth removal: The placement of all types of veneers requires us to remove some tooth enamel to create room for bonding. However, since Emax veneers are considerably tougher and stronger than other veneers, we remove very little enamel. As a result, you will experience little to no discomfort during the veneer process.

You can match the colour of veneers to your existing teeth: This allows for a more natural-looking smile and seamless integration. You can choose a precise shade and colour of veneers to improve the colour of one or more stained teeth, giving you the desired smile.

Preserving your natural teeth: You can preserve more of your tooth’s structure. Also, your natural teeth do not become weaker. Bonding with Emax greatly improves the strength of the teeth.

You can adjust the size of your teeth: You can make subtle to moderate changes to your teeth depending on your needs. Emax veneers come in thicknesses of between 0.3mm and 0.5mm. On the other hand, conventional porcelain veneers have a minimum thickness of 0.5mm. The thinness of Emax veneers allows for more flexibility.

Greater durability: Traditional porcelain veneers are prone to chips and cracks because of their thickness. Emax veneers are thinner and harder, offering superior durability. They also last longer than other types of veneers.

More natural-looking: They allow more light, giving your teeth a more natural appeal. As a result, they will give you a boost of confidence, knowing that no one can tell you’re wearing dental veneers.

Do veneers protect teeth from cavities?

You’ve bitten the bullet, and now you’re enjoying a gorgeous smile with porcelain veneers! Because of your new and improved smile, you’ve been feeling happier, more confident, and ready to take on the world. Your teeth are stunning, with no chips, cracks, and stains, so do you still need to stress about cavities?

Veneers are wafer-thin covers that cover the front side of your teeth. Porcelain has been used in dentistry for years because it is such an exceptional match for natural tooth enamel.

Porcelain is transparent, and we can match it to the colour of any tooth. It is more durable than enamel and resistant to staining. Ceramists who craft veneers are both artists and engineers. They create delicate paper-thin shells that adhere to the teeth, hiding chips and stains. Porcelain veneers can also align crooked teeth for patients who don’t need extensive orthodontic work.

Your porcelain veneers won’t decay, but the teeth they protect can! If you want to keep looking confident for years, you need to protect them. Thankfully, protecting your natural teeth with veneers isn’t as difficult as you may think.

In this post, we’ll discuss how veneers work, what they do and how they protect the front of your teeth while hiding cosmetic imperfections. We’ll also discuss the steps you can take to ensure that your natural teeth are protected from erosion and cavities, and maintained for years to come.

What is the procedure for ceramic veneers?

Veneers are super-thin, durable casings that are permanently applied to the front of your teeth to cover small cosmetic imperfections. They can adjust the size, shape, and colour of a tooth, which makes them perfect for masking issues like cracks, chips, discolourations, or small gaps. These tooth-shaped coverings consist of white dental porcelain, which is well-known for imitating the natural shine of teeth and resistant to staining. While it may weaken over time, it will not decay.

Are cavities possible with veneers?

Although the veneer itself won’t get any cavities, the tooth it’s attached to still can. You can get cavities with porcelain veneers if:

  • The veneer doesn’t fit properly. For a veneer to fit seamlessly into your smile, we need to remove a layer of the enamel. If any part of the thinned enamel is exposed because your veneer isn’t on quite right, it can easily erode.
  • You don’t adhere to your oral hygiene routine. Remember, veneers protect the front of your tooth. If you don’t brush and floss regularly, the plaque that builds up can cause cavities on the other sides.
  • Chronic dry mouth. Your saliva is your body’s natural defence against plaque. Without it, bacteria can grow and quickly eat away at your enamel. Several factors cause dry mouth, including medications, illnesses, and lifestyle issues, so be sure to consult a physician.

How veneers stay white, bright and beautiful:

Your natural teeth are slightly porous, which means that the protective layer of enamel is full of tiny holes. These pores are healthy, but they also provide a foothold for surface stains and cavity-causing bacteria. Porcelain veneers are entirely smooth, with no openings for things to latch onto. This is thanks to a coating of special protective resin that fills any tiny openings.

How to protect your smile:

Make sure that you’re preventing cavities and keeping your veneers in tip-top shape with these simple tips:

  • Stick to your daily oral hygiene routine that includes at least two minutes of brushing every day and daily flossing.
  • Stay hydrated to avoid dry mouth and use water to rinse away bacteria that can cause cavities.
  • Visit JJS Dentistry regularly to detect and treat any potential issues before they
  • Avoid hard, sticky foods that wear and tear the resin on your veneers.
  • Quit smoking to keep the edges of your veneers from discolouring and promote better oral health.

Remember, even though your veneers are safe from decay, the teeth they’re covering to can still get cavities. If you take care of them as well as you do your natural teeth, you can have a bright, cavity-free smile for years to come!

Dental veneers are popular, but they can go wrong. Get yours right!

Beautiful teeth are a part of the self-confidence of many, but they can go wrong if done incorrectly. Veneers can change the shape, structure and colour of your smile. They can provide a new smile free from imperfections such as discolouration and crooked teeth. For a very long time, using veneers to perfect already good teeth was mostly confined to the professionally attractive and fabulously wealthy high class. Veneers are not the only option, but they have become more common thanks to instant social media sharing and celebrities revealing their beauty and health secrets.

Dental veneers go wrong when they look too unrealistic. When they do not fit correctly, your new set of teeth can appear too bright on colour or chunky due to the original size and shape, or even pocky often because your facial structure and the shape of your mouth was not considered before the procedure. For the best new smile, your best bet would be to have reference images from people who have similar facial features as you, the smile that you desire and an excellent cosmetic dentist.

Ceramic Veneers?

Get the ultimate celebrity smile with ceramic veneers

Ceramic veneers are thin porcelain shields that cover only the front face of the teeth and are minimally invasive compared to other types of veneers available on the market. They are a great permanent solution to change or improve the image of stained, chipped, broken or unaesthetic teeth. Ceramic veneers require extensive planning and accuracy to maximise durability and your aesthetic goals.

What does getting ceramic veneers involve?

Getting veneers usually requires two visits to complete the process, with little or no anaesthesia required during the procedure. The first step is your initial consultation where your teeth will be examined followed by matching the right colour from the available natural colour selection. The second step is creating your specially designed veneers and doing the final finishes to your brand new teeth.

Your teeth are prepared by lightly buffing and shaping the surface to allow for the thickness of the veneer to be placed over your natural teeth. An impression of the teeth is taken along with the right shade chosen by you and your dentist. On the second visit, the teeth will be cleansed with special liquids to achieve a durable bond.  And a special light beam is used to harden and set the bond.

Similarly to cosmetic surgery, the best veneers are highly undetectable. Bad ones often look way too opaque, white, too smooth and they have all these characteristics that real teeth do not have. Good veneers have the texture, translucent and the irregularity of a natural tooth. Getting veneers seems to be the most lucrative form of dentistry and the most rewarding, so everyone wants to do it.

Can I go to any dentist to get ceramic veneers?

It is not every dentist that can perform this procedure. Going to a general dentist for veneers is like going to your general physician for a facelift because they took a weekend course and offers the service now. Not that many people are really good at installing veneers, and that is why you see the horror stories.

Dr JJ Serfontein is the best in his field when it comes to cosmetic dentistry in the Cape Town area. You can relax knowing that your teeth are in good hands and that you are getting a premium service. With ceramic veneers, you get great value for your money. They do tend to be more pricey than porcelain veneers but they are more resistant to staining from smoking and coffee. If you smoke or drink a lot of coffee this solutions may be best for you.

You can have the perfect smile

When we talk about the perfect smile, we are referring to a beautiful smile that lights up a room and transforms your face. Sometimes we have small imperfections that prevent us from having the smile we desire. Your teeth aren’t the only problem, it’s the full package; it could be as a result of staining from coffee or teeth that are not uniform. Whatever it is, it can most likely be corrected.

There are minor and major procedures and treatments you can get from the dentist’s office that will elevate your smile. When you have a better smile, you feel more confident and people will notice it. Confidence goes a long way in your social and professional life. You become less shy and self-conscious which helps you focus on becoming the best you in all aspects of your life.

Self-care is critical in maintaining the perfect smile

It is important to take care of yourself in every way. Some things may seem like fun initially but can cause you more harm. Dangerous behaviour should be avoided and high-risk sports should be practised with caution and the right sports gear. You only get your adult teeth once. Safety comes first during physical activities to avoid knocking out or chipping your teeth.

In the long run, healthy teeth will lead to the best smile. You should never be in a position where you have neglected to care for your teeth and overall oral health. Ensure that you are using the best toothbrush, floss and toothpaste for you. Take time out to clean your teeth properly and have an in-office deep clean to avoid gum diseases and to treat any minor complications before they worsen.

Possible procedures to develop the perfect smile:

Maintaining a perfect smile is a health essential, but often a cosmetic enhancement makes a world of a difference. Veneers can make a big difference

Dental veneers are very popular because people are slowly realising that their teeth could look better. With veneers, you can change the shape of your teeth to match your facial structure and features much better.

Smile makeover

A smile makeover this the ultimate improvement to your smile. It is a journey to a perfect smile specially designed for you. It is the process of improving the appearance of your smile through one or more cosmetic dentistry procedures.

5 misconceptions about veneers

If, like many of our Cape Town patients, your teeth have suffered from decay, trauma, excessive wear or discoloration – Porcelain veneers can be an ideal solution. Veneers are an excellent way to conceal stains and correct minor misalignments, leaving you with a white, bright and beautiful smile.

Despite the beauty and versatility of veneers, some people shirk at the prospect of getting them because of myths they have encountered. Here are five of the most common misconceptions our cosmetic dentists hear about porcelain veneers:

Misconception No. 1: The application is painful.

Like any major dental procedure, veneers are applied after a patient has been given a local anesthetic, eliminating any pain or discomfort. There may be a tiny bit of sensitivity after the procedure but nothing that painkillers can’t handle.

Misconception No. 2: You only need veneers for the front of your mouth.

Veneers are most often placed where they are most visible: on the six front teeth. However, they can also be used on lower teeth and premolars to give you an all-around transformation. Veneers on the back teeth may even improve their function, making chewing more effective.

Misconception No. 3: The entire tooth must be filed down before veneers can be placed.

While some reshaping is usually needed before placing veneers, most of it is minimal and a lot of the tooth structure is maintained. With dental technology advancing as it is, we may be able to place veneers without removing any tooth structure in the near future!

Misconception No. 4: Veneers only serve aesthetic purposes.

Although the primary goal of veneers is often to enhance the overall appearance of the smile, veneers can also be used to fill out cheeks and rebuild molars – enhancing tooth function is a definite benefit of this procedure.

Misconception No. 5: Veneers are unnaturally white and noticeable.

Modern veneers can be beautifully customized to match the thickness, shape and natural color of a patient’s existing teeth. Cape Town dentist Dr. Serfontein is something of an artist when it comes to building smiles so rest assured, your veneers will look completely natural.

straighten

3 ways to straighten teeth without unsightly braces

Thanks to a number of advances in modern dentistry procedures, there are several ways to straighten your teeth that can help you achieve a beautiful smile. Some treatments will help straighten the teeth in a fraction of the time that traditional metal braces take, while others will completely hide the existing teeth to create the illusion of a perfect smile.

1. Clear Aligners

Clear Aligners allow you to easily and quickly straighten and align your teeth. The process involves the use of clear, custom-crafted aligners. Many people, especially older teens and adults, find this option appealing over traditional braces because you don’t have to worry about having a mouth full of metal. The aligning trays are able to be removed to eat and brush the teeth, as well as for any special events or functions.

Because this method of straightening the teeth doesn’t require the use of any brackets or metal wires, many patients agree that it is much less painful than more traditional braces. Clear aligner treatment is often selected over traditional braces thanks to its aesthetics, convenience, and comfort.

2. Veneers

A veneer is a type of tooth-shaped shell that is created to hide or mask any dental flaws that are present. These are used as an instant type of orthodontic treatment because they will provide instant results once applied to the teeth.

Veneers can be used for teeth that are mildly crooked, helping to create teeth that are perfectly aligned. They can also help to improve the aesthetics of the teeth, masking ones that are the wrong size or shape, or that are discolored. This option of “instant orthodontics” is popular for those who only have mild alignment issues. With veneers, you can get your beautiful, perfectly aligned smile in as little as two visits to our Cosmetic Dentistry Practice while avoiding the pain and discomfort that is often associated with traditional metal braces.

3. Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are one of the “invisible” treatment methods that we have to offer. Conventional braces are typically mounted to the front of the teeth, creating a smile filled with metal parts. Lingual braces work the same way as conventional braces, but they are mounted to the back of the teeth, so all the metal structures are hidden from view. So you get all the benefits of regular braces, without the cosmetic disturbances that are usually associated with them.

Orthodontic treatments depend highly on the specifics of your case so if you are looking for ways to straighten your smile, schedule a consultation at JJ Teeth and we will present the options available for you. Our dental experts in Cape Town have ample experience with orthodontic treatments and are happy to guide you on your journey to a stunning smile.

Get back your Smile

Your smile is incredibly important; a great smile can boost your confidence and make a good impression when meeting new people. If you are not happy with your smile, our dentists at Dr JJ Serfontein offers various options to restore your smile using cosmetic dentistry.

Most dental problems can be rectified through using dental veneers or implants. Dental implants offer a solution to a missing tooth or multiple teeth. By implanting a piece of metal that fuses with existing bone, dental implants offer a long-term solution to missing teeth.

Dental veneers are used to alter the appearance of your tooth. They are made of materials that blend in with your natural teeth and can be fit to adjust the size, shape, and colour of your existing teeth.

Cosmetic Dentistry Procedures Cape Town

Teeth Whitening

Once of the most popular cosmetic dental procedures. Today there are numerous teeth-whitening options available, and determining which will be the best for your smile will depend on the amount of whitening you need and how much you are willing to spend to get it.

Veneers

Dental veneers are a form of cosmetic dentistry in which a shell or layer of tooth-colored porcelain or composite is placed over the facial surfaces of your teeth to correct worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment or spacing, discoloration and chips or cracks.

Dental Implants

A permanent alternative to removable dentures for replacing missing teeth. Implants are strong and stable, as they are rooted into the jaw bone. They also look and feel like your natural teeth.

Bonding

We aim to restore broken, chipped, mishapen, partially decayed or discolored teeth. With dental bonding, a composite material that resembles your natural tooth color is sculpted into place, then shaped and hardened using UV light or laser.

Crowns

Dental crowns are used to cover and protect teeth which are weak. It is also used to restore a broken tooth or hold a bridge in place.

Porcelain Veneers | Correcting Tooth Imperfections

A shining smile has the ability to light up a room and inspire more smiles, as opposed to a smile that contains damaged teeth and stains which send an entirely different message. Unfortunately, not all of us have been blessed with a natural Hollywood smile. Therefore, porcelain veneers were created to improve on a variety of tooth imperfections such as: broken, chipped, cracked, malformed, displaced and discoloured teeth.

Porcelain veneers are semi-translucent, nail-thin shells made of tooth coloured porcelain, which gets placed and bonded to the front surface of teeth, improving the appearance while also providing strength and resilience comparable to natural tooth enamel. Porcelain veneers are quite similar to natural teeth, which makes it one of the very few materials that are able to mimic the tooth enamel. It is also near impossible to see the difference between a veneer and a natural tooth, since veneers are custom made for each individual patient.

Once bonded to the tooth, porcelain veneers become extremely durable and able to last up to 20 years if well cared for. You will be able to eat, drink and brush the same way you would with natural teeth. The only difference between your own teeth and the porcelain veneers is that the veneers are stain resistant so it doesn’t pick up permanent stains.

Maintaining porcelain veneers is easy. All you have to do is treat it like your natural teeth by routinely brushing with non-abrasive fluoride toothpaste, and flossing. If you grind your teeth often, a bite guard will be recommended by your dentist. This bite guard will only be necessary at night, as patients who grind their teeth generally do so more at while they’re asleep.

It will only take 3 visits to your dentist in order to get the veneers placed on your teeth, but it is recommended to visit your dentist a week after your veneers have been placed, so that he or she may evaluate the reaction of your gums to the veneers. This appointment is important for your future oral health, even if you feel that the veneers are successful.
